Thankful Thursday #53
I am so thankful for so many things everyday.
Today, I am thankful for this post being the first post of my second year. My first Thankful Thursday post was last year on July 13th.
I have had a great year with my jewelry and I am so excited about the charms I have made and the ones I am still making!
When I started my blog last year, it was around my mom's birthday. We just celebrated her birthday this Tuesday along with my brother in law's birthday. He is my sister's husband and we all grew up together so he and my mom have celebrated years of birthdays together.
We went to my brother's house and he cooked out for everyone. Our family has really grown over the years with me, my sister and my brother having 11 kids between us.
The group was even bigger this year! This is the first time all three of my kids are dating someone at the same time. They all three had their boyfriend and girlfriends at the birthday party. We took some pictures and my mom got a little teary eyed saying it was a great day because everyone was there.
With so many kids, it is hard to get everyone together. Her mom and dad and brother and his wife were also there.
This is my daughter with my mom and brother in law, Harrison. He is such a great uncle to my kids. My son works with him and all three have a very special relationship with him. He is very protective of my daughter. With them not having a relationship with their dad, Harrison has filled in many times when they needed him. We are so blessed with our family.
I have to add that not only are my kids all spoken for at the moment, but that I absolutely love and adore who they are all dating. That has to be a rare thing!
I am thankful for the last year with my jewelry and all of the blessings that have come with it. I have made friends through making my charms, the places I buy materials from, and the customers who buy my pieces. It is so rewarding and I absolutely love what I do and am so excited where it is going.
I am going to be posting a lot of new pieces in my Etsy shop soon. I have gotten in some really pretty gemstones and I am consistently creating new charm designs and pretty much always have some in production.
These are a new strand of Lepidocrocite Quartz. The color of red is a little bronze metallic and rust in color in some of them. They are so pretty! They are very healing and have a lot of benefit to them as well as being beautiful.
These are also new! Just a few of the gemstones that came in yesterday from my sweet friends, Christine and Lisa, at The Gem Loft.
I have a lot of work to do, but that's ok. I love every single minute of it!
