I'm Baaack! Thankful Thursday #67

I am so thankful for so many things everyday.

I'm Baaack..... Friday the 13th AND A Full Moon

I haven't written a post in months. I have had a lot going on and will post updates about the things I had going on with my jewelry. I had my first juried event with a booth at the Atlanta AmericasMart (Atlanta Apparel Mart) July Home and Gift Show. I have been making some new pieces for Fall. I have also added new charms that I will also be sharing in future posts.

Right now, I am loving everything Moonstone. I just love it and am so drawn to it. It makes sense because it has always been a family joke how the moon affects me. If I was acting out when I was younger (and still today- haha!) my mom would look on the calendar to see if it was a full moon and it usually was. She would also know when it was coming!

I love this time of year. I am so thankful for Fall and all the memories I have along with it. I am the nerd who loved starting back to school. When school starts back, I am ready for Fall weather and Halloween. I am in Georgia, though, and we don't always get Fall weather until it is almost Winter. We have had 90 degree temps and that just doesn't feel like football weather. It also causes sweating while trying to enjoy Pumpkin Spice lattes.

I love Halloween and scary movies. Tomorrow is a full moon and also Friday the 13th. It is a rare event and won't happen again until August 13, 2049.

I have an article that said, "East Coasters last saw a Friday the 13th full moon on June 13, 2014, according to the Falmers' Almanac. A nationwide Friday the 13th full moon hasn't happened since October 13, 2000."

It is also a micro moon which means the point in the moon's orbit farthest away from the earth so it will be a Harvest Moon, but appear a little smaller making this odd occurrence just a little bit more odd!

Maybe that means the effect it might have on me will be a little smaller!
